Job Overview

The University of Cincinnati's Department of Radiology seeks a skilled Medical Provider Specialist to join their team. Key Responsibilities
  • Assist providers in understanding indications, alternatives, risks, and steps of IR procedures
  • Perform history and physical examinations prior to IR procedures
  • Informed consent for IR procedures for outpatient and inpatients
  • Pre-procedure and post-procedure IR orders
  • Medication reconciliation, prescribing, and discharge for patients undergoing outpatients IR procedures
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must possess a Master's degree from an accredited nursing program or physician assistant program. You should also have active Ohio APRN or PA license with prescriptive authority and certification in the appropriate specialty.

A minimum of 3 years of experience in nursing or 1 year as a physician assistant is required. Experience in Interventional Radiology and Epic electronic health record system is highly desirable.

Estimated Salary Range: $85,000 - $110,000 per annumBenefits
