Talencia LLC is a dynamic healthcare organization seeking an experienced Credentialing Specialist to join our team. Our company is dedicated to providing top-notch medical services to our patients, and we need someone with expertise in credentialing and privileging processes.

Job Description:

This role involves coordinating and preparing medical staff functions, including preparation for committee meetings, taking minutes, processing and distributing correspondence, and assisting with the development and implementation of the credentialing and privileging process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate verification of professional liability coverage, medical licensure, board certification, BLS, ACLS, ATLS, and/or NRP certifications and DEA certification, as required.
  • Process requests for temporary privileges and monitor all follow-up, in accordance with policies and procedures.
  • Process requests for additional privileges and monitor all follow-up, in accordance with policies and procedures.
  • Assist with the coordination of annual dues process.
  • Credentialing/Database management.
  • Assist customers in the absence of the Credentialing Assistant and/or Administrative Assistant.
  • Assist with Joint Commission accreditation preparation, as necessary.
  • Coordinate preparation and distribution of new committee roster (every two years) and yearly master calendar.
