Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive activity program that meets the diverse needs and interests of our residents
  • Collaborate with the care team to ensure activities are tailored to individual resident needs and abilities
  • Plan and execute daily activities, including parties, outings, and events
  • Recruit and manage volunteers to support activity programs
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of activity programs and make recommendations for improvement
  • Communicate with residents, families, and staff to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience
  • Manage activity budgets and resources
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in activity programming
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in activity coordination, healthcare, or a related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends
  • CDL (Commercial Driver's License) or ability to obtain within 90 days
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with seniors or individuals with special needs
  • Knowledge of activity programming for seniors and individuals with dementia
  • Experience with volunteer management and recruitment
