Job Description:

As a Depot APG Maintenance F-16 Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, overhauling, and modifying aircraft systems and powerplants in accordance with established written procedures, specifications, and standards. You will work on various aircraft systems, including landing gear, flight controls, disassembly, re-assembly, rigging, powerplant, aircraft ground operations, and the flight line environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and troubleshoot aircraft systems and powerplants to identify and diagnose issues.
  • Repair and overhaul aircraft systems and powerplants to ensure they are functioning properly.
  • Modify aircraft systems and powerplants to meet specific requirements.
  • Work on various aircraft systems, including landing gear, flight controls, disassembly, re-assembly, rigging, powerplant, aircraft ground operations, and the flight line environment.
  • Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to ensure that all work is completed to the highest standards.
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of experience on fighter aircraft or other military aircraft.
  • F-16 Crew Chief Experience USAF level 5 or higher.
  • Heavy Aircraft Mod or Depot Experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical manuals, understanding symbols, flags, and general notes.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • High school education or equivalent (GED).
Security Clearance:

This position requires a government security clearance. You must be a US Citizen for consideration.
