Manufacturing Project Manager III

The Manufacturing Project Manager III is a key role within Regal Rexnord Corporation, responsible for driving strategic manufacturing projects across North America in the Industrial Powertrain Systems (IPS) Segment. This individual contributor position will focus on operational optimization, cost savings, product line simplification, and Lean/Six Sigma practices.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and lead complex manufacturing operations projects through the entire project lifecycle, including Regal Rexnord restructuring projects.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to assess the newly formed product portfolio and create a prioritized funnel of PLS opportunities.
- Lead cross-workstream projects and drive alignment across various projects within the IPS segment.
- Design and deploy visual management to track project status and key metrics.
- Leverage planning and organizational skills to assign individual responsibilities, develop and monitor scope, budget, resources, schedules, and risk mitigation plans.
- Develop and manage the overall project work breakdown structure and integrated master schedule to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to scope.
- Develop critical path analysis and identify means to accelerate timelines, reduce cost, and/or mitigate risk.
- Actively communicate and mitigate issues before they impact the project.
- Develop and deploy detailed integration program plans, aligning the required teams and resources to execute based on program plans.
- Guide project team to meet Stage Gate Exit commitment dates while ensuring adherence to Gate Exit Process, deliverable completion, and Gate Exit approval thresholds.
- Apply company's project framework for preparation of detailed project plans, facilitating team meetings, defining formal stage gates, and communicating project status to multiple levels of the Division organization.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Operations, Business, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience is required.
- 5+ years of project management experience with complex, cross-functional, and multi-site teams in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Prior experience with and knowledge of APQP, Design for Lean Six Sigma, waterfall, and/or agile project management is required.
- Project management certification (PMP, PMI) is preferred.
- Advanced proficiency with project management scheduling tools such as MS Project is desired.
