Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Harbor Retirement Associates. As a LPN, you will provide direct and individualized nursing care to our residents, ensuring their health and well-being in a safe and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement care plans formulated by physicians and directors of resident care
  • Provide accurate and timely documentation of care given
  • Assess and provide resident and family/caregiver information pertinent to diagnosis or plan of care
  • Administer medication per physician orders and document properly
  • Maintain a safe and healthy working environment and use safe work methods and procedures
  • Assist residents in learning appropriate self-care activities
  • Organize and monitor associates and material resources necessary for meeting the needs of residents
  • Recognize emergencies and life-threatening situations and initiate appropriate action
Requirements
  • Graduated from an accredited program for LPN/LVN and currently registered in the state of the community
  • Minimum of one (1) year nursing experience in a healthcare facility
  • Experience in a long-term care community and/or geriatric nursing facility preferred
  • Able to communicate effectively with all levels of management, associates, residents, family members, and outside contacts
