Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee a significant caseload of estate litigation cases, ensuring efficient and effective management.
  • Establish, monitor, and maintain case files, ensuring accuracy and currency of information.
  • Coordinate schedules and adhere to all deadlines, ensuring timely attendance at court dates and other critical events.
  • Draft correspondence, including letters and emails, ensuring clarity and professionalism in all communications.
  • Prepare and respond to discovery requests, ensuring timely and accurate provision of information.
  • Draft legal motions and documents, ensuring all paperwork is correctly prepared and submitted.
  • Collaborate with attorneys and team members, providing necessary support and assistance.
  • Stay informed on estate litigation laws and regulations, ensuring compliance with legal standards.

Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of paralegal experience, preferably in estate litigation.
  • Strong understanding of litigation processes and laws, particularly in the context of estate matters.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a significant caseload with exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in maintaining and organizing case files, ensuring information is accessible.
  • Ability to effectively manage time and meet deadlines with reliability.
  • Experience in drafting legal documents and correspondence, with strong writing skills.
  • Familiarity with the discovery process, including drafting and responding to demands.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with estate litigation laws.
