Position Overview:
As a Senior Coding and Reimbursement Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accurate assignment of ICD-10-CM/PCS and CPT-4 codes to facilitate proper reimbursement and data management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accurately assigns all relevant ICD-10-CM/PCS diagnoses and ICD-10-CM/PCS/CPT-4 procedure codes in accordance with established inpatient and outpatient coding standards.
  • Abstracts necessary diagnosis and procedure codes along with other required data elements as dictated by departmental needs into the designated Health System software.
  • Participates in ongoing educational opportunities to enhance coding knowledge and skills.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned to support departmental objectives.

Compensation:
Position Compensation Range: $48.21 Hourly

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years of relevant coding experience.
  • Licensure: Required coding certification through AHIMA or AAPC, such as RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CCS-P, CPC, CCA, or CPC-H.

Physical Requirements:
This role primarily involves sedentary work with extensive use of desktop computers. Occasional travel may be required for meetings and training sessions.
