Job Description:

Aerotek is seeking a skilled Assembly Specialist to join our dynamic team in Fargo, North Dakota. As an Assembly Specialist, you will be responsible for assembling trailers and heaters in a collaborative environment with a small team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize hand and power tools to follow work instructions and blueprints to complete tasks.
  • Assist with wiring trailer lights and ensure all work is performed safely and efficiently.
  • Work on 12-15 different models with customization options, offering an engaging and varied experience.
  • Participate in a team-oriented environment, requiring a readiness to stand for most or all of the day.

Requirements:

  • Ability to use hand and power tools.
  • Proficiency in reading tape measures.
  • Ability to identify different parts, bolts, tools.
  • Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints.

Soft Skills:

  • Teamwork.
  • Attention to safety.
  • Adaptability.
  • Reliability.

Work Environment:

The work environment is a standard metal shop, divided with fabrication on one side and weld/assembly on the other, while paint/blast operations are conducted in a separate building.

Work Schedule:

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 4 months, working on the 2nd shift from 4pm-3am, Monday to Thursday, with potential additional hours on Fridays.
