Job Summary:
Radiation Therapists at CARTI play a vital role in delivering high-quality cancer treatment to patients. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for administering radiation treatments, simulating and recording doses, and ensuring accurate delivery. This includes imaging tumor volumes, outlining targets on patient surfaces, and performing daily quality control checks on treatment machines.

Responsibilities:
- Perform radiation therapy procedures according to physician orders and departmental guidelines
- Determine and prepare set-ups within established parameters
- Calculate monitor units and record patient treatment information in charts while maintaining confidentiality
- Communicate with patients and families regarding routine procedures, appointments, skin care, and proper attire

Requirements:
- Completion of an accredited program in radiation therapy technology
- Current registration as a radiation therapist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or registry eligibility with a passing score within 360 days
- Licensure as a radiation therapist with the Arkansas Department of Health
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- 6 months to 1.5 years of experience in radiation therapy technology with knowledge of institution and departmental policies, chart coding, scheduling, and equipment operation

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year
