About the Role:

Aerotek is seeking a highly skilled HSE Specialist to join their team in a fully on-site position at a fiberglass manufacturing facility in Texas. As an HSE Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe working environment for employees and contractors, conducting daily routine walk-throughs, and performing in-house inspections and walk-throughs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct daily routine walk-throughs on the production floor to ensure employees and contractors have proper PPE and chemicals are labeled properly.
  • Work hand-in-hand with third-party health and safety advisors to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Assist with monthly random walk-throughs to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
  • Develop and implement safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Collaborate with management to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years' experience as an HSE Coordinator or Specialist in an industrial manufacturing environment.
  • Experience performing in-house inspections and walk-throughs.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a hot and steamy non-climate controlled environment.
