About the Job
We are seeking a skilled Psychiatric Care Specialist to join our team. As a member of our team, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care in our inpatient behavioral health facility.
Job Summary
The Psychiatric Care Specialist will assist patients with their daily needs, monitor patient safety and security, document patient information and progress, collaborate with nursing staff to provide high-quality patient care, and participate in group sessions and activities to promote patient well-being.
Responsibilities
* Monitor patient behavior and respond to emergencies
* Provide emotional support to patients and families
* Document patient information and progress
* Collaborate with nursing staff to develop and implement individualized care plans
* Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Psychology or related field (or equivalent experience)
* 3 years of experience in a psychiatric setting (preferred)
* BLS certification
* CPI training (recommended)
Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $70,000 per year
