About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Wind Turbine Technician II to join our team at Vestas. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing scheduled service, fault analysis, and troubleshooting on wind turbines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on wind turbines, including scheduled service and fault analysis
  • Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostic tests to identify and resolve technical issues
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations
  • Work at heights and in confined spaces, while being exposed to the elements of weather
  • Travel up to 10% of the time to assist other sites as business needs require
Requirements
  • 2-3 years of experience in mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical work, with wind experience a plus
  • Basic Safety Training (BST), Basic Technical Training (BTT), and Advanced Rescue Training (ART) certifications from the Global Wind Organization (GWO)
  • Ability to work in a team environment and take initiative in daily tasks
  • Positive attitude and safety-focused mindset
