Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team at the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce. As an Administrative Assistant, you will provide administrative support to our CEO and VP, manage calendars, coordinate meetings, and maintain company databases.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain company databases, CRM systems, and internal records
  • Coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for senior staff
  • Provide exceptional customer service and respond to inquiries in a timely manner
  • Assist in preparing and managing documents, reports, and presentations
  • Update and verify client information, and maintain accurate records
  • Perform light cleaning and organizing tasks to maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure project milestones are met and deliverables are completed on time
Requirements
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Prior experience working with Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Drive, etc)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment
  • Experience in customer service and call handling
  • Ability to read and understand contracts and proposals
  • High level of attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills
  • Familiarity with Quickbooks and Asana or other workflow/productivity management software
