Gastroenterology Specialist Physician

We are seeking a highly skilled Gastroenterology Specialist Physician to join our team at Triboro Administrative Services, d/b/a Rendr. As a Gastroenterology Specialist Physician, you will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical care to our patients in diverse communities. Our rapidly growing network provides a supportive environment for physicians to practice medicine under the guidance of dedicated medical leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
• Diagnose and treat acute illnesses and chronic diseases and conditions in the field of gastroenterology.
• Prescribe or administer medications, therapy, and other specialized medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease, or injury.
• Explain procedures and discuss test results or prescribed treatments with patients.
• Monitor patients' conditions and progress and re-evaluate treatments, as necessary.
• Provide health and wellness advice to patients, including diet, physical activity, hygiene, and disease prevention.
• Maintain detailed notes of appointments with patients, including comments, tests, and/or treatments prescribed, and test results.
• Refer patients to other medical specialists, when necessary.
• Provide compassionate and empathetic support and advice to patients regarding their health concerns.
• Prepare official health documents or records, when necessary.
• Participate in network activities such as Provider meetings, Grand Rounds, and training sessions.
Requirements:
• Bilingual English and Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) required.
• Completion of internal residency, Gastroenterology fellowship, and board-certified or board-certified soon after hire.
• Licensed MD in NY; DEA license.
• 3+ years of experience preferred but all welcome.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to multi-task and use multiple systems, including our EMR to provide medical information and patient support/follow up after the clinical visit.
