We are seeking a dedicated X-Ray Imaging Specialist to join our healthcare team. This role is essential in providing high-quality imaging services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate imaging equipment, including x-ray machines and portable units, ensuring safety and efficiency.
  • Assist in patient transport, manage scheduling inquiries, and provide information regarding imaging results.
  • Maintain cleanliness of imaging rooms and equipment, manage supply inventory, and support physicians during procedures.
  • Must be a graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program and hold or be eligible for registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
  • Ensure high-quality imaging standards with minimal repeat examinations.
  • Possess a comprehensive understanding of imaging technology, human anatomy, and proper positioning techniques.
  • Effectively manage multiple tasks while maintaining a positive demeanor towards patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Coordinate patient preparation and imaging processes to enhance workflow.
  • Assist in patient mobility as required and demonstrate knowledge of contrast media and potential reactions.
  • Engage in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the overall efficiency of the imaging department.
  • Exhibit the necessary skills to provide age-appropriate care for patients in your assigned area.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of developmental principles and the ability to assess and interpret patient data to meet individual needs.

Qualifications

Essential Requirements

  • Completion of Radiologic Technology training.
  • ARRT certification or eligibility (to be obtained within one year of employment).
  • BLS certification (required upon hire).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Computed Tomography (CT).
