This position involves engaging in sales activities for construction aggregates within a designated territory. The successful candidate will work closely with the Sales Manager and will be responsible for promoting and selling construction materials while ensuring excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular sales visits to customer locations.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with both existing and potential clients.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships to drive sales growth.
  • Follow up on quotes to ensure customer satisfaction and document outcomes.
  • Generate and process sales orders efficiently.
  • Report market conditions and customer feedback to management.
  • Maintain ethical relationships with manufacturers in line with company standards.
  • Participate in training sessions to enhance product knowledge.
  • Collaborate effectively with Inside Sales Associates and support staff.
  • Present a professional image of the company during all interactions.
  • Complete sales reports and expense documentation promptly.

  • Communicate relevant company policies and initiatives to customers.
  • Keep the Sales Manager informed of schedules and activities.
  • Perform additional duties as required to fulfill job responsibilities.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED with three years of relevant sales experience.
  • Strong ethical standards and professional conduct.
  • Proficient in computer use and technical applications.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Solid understanding of the construction materials industry.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong customer service focus.
  • Valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
  • Ability to work in various environments, including construction sites.
  • Physical capability to lift and transport materials as needed.
