About Our Team

We're seeking a highly skilled Architect to join our growing team in Denver, CO, Tampa, FL, and Austin, TX. As an Architect at AtkinsRéalis, you'll have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from commercial to rail and transit, and collaborate with a talented team of designers, engineers, and project managers.

About the Role

As an Architect, you'll be responsible for applying your technical expertise to solve complex design problems and coordinate related project activities. You'll work closely with our design teams to deliver high-quality results, and have the opportunity to mentor junior staff and take on increasing levels of responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support design teams through all stages of design, from conceptual to construction documentation.
  • Develop and enhance current skills in programming, planning, and conceptual design activities.
  • Collaborate with sub-consultants and other disciplines to deliver comprehensive project solutions.
  • Produce high-quality construction documents in BIM, using Revit and AutoCAD software.
  • Provide technical information to specification writers and create organized exhibits in BlueBeam and PowerPoint for client review.
  • Perform site and field work, including site investigations, existing facility inventory, and field measured documentation.
  • Communicate regularly with the team and stay within budgeted hours for assigned tasks.
  • Maintain and coordinate project BIM models and develop a strong knowledge of construction document standards and conventions.

AtkinsRéalis offers a competitive salary range of $120,000 to $150,000 depending on experience, plus a range of benefits, including health insurance, paid family leave, and a retirement savings plan with employer match. Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from a NAAB-accredited program required.
  • Minimum 4–5+ years of relevant work experience, including all phases of architectural drafting, detailing, and coordination of consultants.
  • Experience with Sketchup and Lumion or other rendering software preferred.
  • Expertise in BIM/Revit and AutoCAD required.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite required.
  • Candidate must be in process of completing the Architect Registration Exam (ARE).
  • LEED AP a plus.
