Role Summary:

The primary responsibility of this position is to ensure the Outage Management System (OMS) remains up-to-date, enabling accurate outage predictions and effective switching operations. This role involves performing essential functions for problem resolution and maintenance of the OMS. The individual will document, prioritize, and communicate with the Information Systems Department and the GIS QA/QC Supervisor regarding OMS issues, upgrades, training, and enhancements. Additionally, the supervisor will oversee all operational matters related to OMS and provide round-the-clock support to the Systems Control as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Hold a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • Possess a minimum of five (5) years of experience in delivering and managing enterprise solutions, including GIS and OMS.
  • Have a solid understanding of electrical system principles, particularly concerning circuit configurations and the operation of protective devices.
  • Demonstrate strong troubleshooting abilities, capable of distilling complex information into actionable steps for resolution.
  • Effectively manage multiple tasks, prioritize responsibilities, and communicate efficiently across various departments.
  • Be open to participating in on-the-job training opportunities.
