Position Summary
The Regional Maintenance Manager (RMM) operates under the guidance of the Director of Maintenance Operations, overseeing the upkeep of various equipment types across multiple locations within a designated area. This role requires occasional overnight travel to different facilities for training sessions and compliance evaluations.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate operational processes and identify areas for enhancement in productivity, cost efficiency, and procedural improvements.
- Ensure that shop facilities and equipment meet company and regulatory standards.
- Participate in the organization, planning, and establishment of objectives for preventative maintenance initiatives.
- Inspire, organize, and manage the productivity of multiple shop teams.
- Conduct interviews for potential new employees.
- Provide coaching, guidance, and disciplinary actions as necessary.
- Oversee the management of maintenance parts, supplies, and tire inventories within the region.
- Guide supervisors and lead personnel in achieving goals and enhancing staff productivity.
- Utilize Microsoft Excel and Word to generate reports and analyze operational data.
- Employ internal software systems to create lists for equipment servicing and inspections.
Preferred Qualifications
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in maintenance.
- At least 5 years of experience in a supervisory role.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office, TMW Maintenance software, and the AS400 operating system.
