Medical Care Specialist - ICU

As a Medical Care Specialist in our ICU department, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our team.



Responsibilities

  • Assist registered nurses and licensed practical nurses with meeting the needs of hospitalized patients or nursing home residents.
  • Actively participate in nursing reports by receiving and contributing to status reports of patients.
  • Provide complete and thorough personal care for patients, including taking and accurately recording vital signs.
  • Assist and accompany patients in the admission, transfer, and discharge process while ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Promptly and consistently respond to patients' needs and needs of family members.
  • Complete housekeeping responsibilities such as utility rooms and diet kitchen as needed.
  • Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as personal care, feeding, bathing, and dressing.
  • Provide support to patients and family members.


Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous patient care experience in a hospital setting preferred, but not required.
