Essential Qualifications:

  • Medical Doctor degree or equivalent qualification in medicine/osteopathic medicine.
  • Accountability to the Chief of the Urology Surgery Section, ensuring the highest standards of clinical and surgical care across the medical facility.
  • Mentorship for interns, residents, medical students, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners, with eligibility for clinical appointments at an academic institution.
  • Provision of compassionate, appropriate, and effective patient care, promoting health, preventing illness, and managing disease.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development, ethical practice, and sensitivity to diversity.
  • Utilization of evidence-based practices to assess and enhance patient care.
  • Maintenance of clinical privileges in relevant specialties to fulfill job responsibilities.
  • Involvement in research, demonstrating the ability to identify significant problems, design and execute research projects, and produce publishable results.
