Position Qualifications:
- Doctor of Medicine degree or an equivalent qualification from an accredited medical/osteopathic institution.
- The physician will report to the Chief of the Urology Surgery Section and is responsible for ensuring the highest standards of clinical and surgical care throughout the facility while adhering to compliance regulations.
- Mentorship of interns, residents, medical students, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners is expected, along with eligibility for clinical appointments at a prestigious university.
- Provide compassionate, appropriate, and effective patient care that promotes health, prevents illness, treats diseases, and supports end-of-life care. Comfortable in guiding support staff during their duties.
- Exhibit a commitment to ongoing professional development, ethical practice, and sensitivity to diversity, along with a responsible approach to patient care and the medical profession.
- Utilize evidence-based practices to evaluate and enhance patient care continuously.
- Maintain clinical privileges in relevant areas of expertise and fulfill all responsibilities within the medical services.
- If engaged in research, demonstrate the ability to identify significant research challenges, plan and execute research programs, and produce reports suitable for publication.
