Position Overview:

McDonald's Treasury is focused on driving business growth and enhancing stakeholder value through exceptional global financial leadership and expertise.

Aligned with McDonald's Values, the Treasury team serves as trusted partners, safeguarding the brand by optimizing access to capital and liquidity, protecting company assets, managing financial risks, and providing informed financial counsel and education.

We are currently seeking a Senior Treasury Analyst to be a vital member of the Global Treasury Team. Reporting to the Director of Treasury Operations, this role collaborates across departments with Global Funding.

The position encompasses support for international cash pooling, global cash positioning and forecasting, bank account management, and other essential activities that contribute to global treasury operations.


Key Responsibilities:


Oversee and support treasury, global banking, and liquidity management across various areas, including international cash management, transaction execution, treasury systems and operations, internal controls, banking products, reporting, and issue resolution.

Enhance cash efficiency within international legal entities by analyzing cash positions and liquidity pools, and making recommendations for optimization.

Assist in executing, tracking, and reporting the repatriation plan, collaborating with subsidiaries, tax, legal, and accounting teams.

Maintain relationships with internal and external global partners, including banks and finance contacts within subsidiaries.

Generate and update a variety of monthly reports: Cash Forecast, Intercompany Loans, Bank Fees, etc.

Support the management of the intercompany lending portfolio and global cash pooling activities, advising the Treasury Operations team on corporate cash flow projections.

Monitor intercompany interest calculations, payment activities, and aging schedules.

Assist with foreign exchange trades and payments.

Manage global bank accounts, administer treasury management systems, and troubleshoot related issues.

Open and close bank accounts as necessary and update authorized signers for various entities.

Handle requests for international Letters of Credit and maintain originals.

Support global banking partners, local finance teams, and audit requests to ensure compliance with SOX, FBAR, and treasury regulations.

Provide analysis, troubleshooting, and reporting support to the cash management team, serving as a backup when needed.

Assist with ad hoc treasury requests.


Qualifications:
4+ years of progressive experience in Corporate Finance, Treasury, or Accounting.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams and collaborate cross-functionally.
Strong grasp of corporate and international financial management principles.
Critical thinker with the capacity to assess the broader implications of actions and processes.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Tableau, and quick to learn new software applications.
Experience with treasury management systems and various banking platforms is preferred.
A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field is required.
CTP, CPA, or MBA is a plus.
