About the Role

Kaleida Health is seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team at Millard Fillmore Suburban. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical cases.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and maintain a sterile field and instruments for surgical cases
  • Count and verify surgical instruments and supplies according to policy
  • Collaborate with RNs to ensure a safe and efficient surgical environment
  • Maintain continuing education and professional development to stay current with best practices
  • Adhere to health system policies and procedures, and demonstrate competence in your role
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Certification as a Surgical Technologist upon hire required
  • Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) required within 90 days of hire
  • Completion of a Nationally Accredited Surgical Technology Program or completion of a Military Surgical Technology Program required upon hire
