Surgical Technologist Job Description

Kaleida Health is seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team at Millard Fillmore Suburban. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical cases.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and maintain a sterile field and instruments for surgical cases.
  • Count and verify surgical instruments and supplies according to policy.
  • Demonstrate responsibility and accountability by maintaining continuing education, adhering to health system policies, and demonstrating competence.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Certification as a Surgical Technologist upon hire required.
  • Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) required within 90 days of hire.
  • Completion of a Nationally Accredited Surgical Technology Program or completion of a Military Surgical Technology Program required upon hire.

  • Competitive salary range: $31.51-$39.90 per hour.
