Job Overview

Kona Grill - Tigard is seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Server Assistant to join our team. As a Server Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a memorable dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Focus: Deliver exceptional guest service by providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere, ensuring prompt service, and addressing guest needs in a timely manner.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with the Service team to maintain high-quality standards of customer service, ensuring seamless communication and a positive team dynamic.
  • Menu Knowledge: Develop a thorough understanding of our menu offerings, including ingredients, preparation methods, and pairing suggestions, to provide informed recommendations to guests.
  • Food Service: Assist with food preparation, presentation, and delivery, ensuring accuracy and quality in every aspect of the dining experience.
  • Table Management: Clear and reset tables efficiently, maintaining a clean and organized environment, and ensuring a smooth transition between courses.
Requirements
  • Interpersonal Skills: Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with guests and colleagues in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner.
  • Time Management: Demonstrate effective time management skills, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
