Assist in crafting detailed research proposals, clinical and preclinical protocols, technical documentation, comprehensive reports, and scholarly articles for peer-reviewed journals.
Analyze datasets provided by governmental entities and those gathered by the research team.
Develop informative presentation materials, establish research Standard Operating Procedures, and disseminate findings at technical conferences and professional gatherings.

Prepare experimental subjects, configure experimental apparatus, and contribute to the training and development of subjects for approved experimental protocols.

Support the establishment of in vivo and in vitro model systems, data collection, and analytical processes.
Supervise project personnel and manage data effectively.
Conduct surgical interventions on animal models for both survival and non-survival studies.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:
PhD in Biological Sciences or a closely aligned discipline.
Minimum of 2-5 years of relevant experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint.
Demonstrated expertise in handling biological specimens and animal tissues.
Must complete AALAS accreditation training for laboratory animal work and maintain current certification.
Must complete and uphold CITI training and remain current.
At least 2-5 years of experience directly related to biological laboratory work and/or performing small to large animal surgeries.
A minimum of 2 years of experience in leading and/or supervising laboratory teams and activities.
Operational knowledge of advanced laboratory equipment.
Familiarity with computing systems for physiological data acquisition and analysis.
Availability for occasional weekend and evening hours may be required.

CITIZENSHIP AND CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Eligibility to work in the US is mandatory.
Ability to pass a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) is required.
