POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Vice President of Strategic Initiatives will oversee strategy formulation and program leadership (strategy execution) for projects aimed at enhancing processes, systems, and overall performance.
This role will also be responsible for developing and managing the business analytics capabilities essential for supporting the business strategy.
This position entails leading strategic marketing efforts with the goal of increasing market share and profitability. The ideal candidate will possess robust analytical skills complemented by exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities. They must have extensive experience in steering goal-oriented projects from inception to execution in a global context.Familiarity with contemporary project management methodologies is essential, enabling the application of these frameworks to the company's initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:- Strategy formulation, deployment, and execution
- Development and execution of strategic marketing strategies
- Facilitate and guide strategy development and implementation processes, presenting compelling strategic arguments to the Executive Management Team.
- Assist in the creation of the five-year financial plan and maintain and update relevant strategic initiatives.
- Identify, define, and advocate for new strategic initiatives to support growth objectives and optimize cost structures and asset utilization.
- Support and guide project teams conceptually and analytically in defining business models, strategies, and performance enhancement programs, ensuring alignment with the Corporate Strategy and Mission Statement.
- Monitor and coordinate project team activities, managing existing project interfaces and dependencies.
- Collaborate with the strategic project manager on initiatives to ensure effective implementation planning and progress tracking.
- Act as the custodian of strategic roadmaps for various functions – Sales, Service, Aftermarket, Product Management, and Manufacturing.
- Advise and lead the management team on strategic and organizational matters.
- Develop and mentor team members.

To thrive in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- 10+ years of experience in business and/or strategy; proven business acumen.
- 5+ years of financial acumen and analytics experience; familiarity with data systems and visualization tools.
- Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills, with strong executive presentation capabilities.
- Experience in leading projects and driving organizational change; experience with large-scale transformation programs is preferred.
- Ability to attract, develop, and retain high-potential, diverse talent.
Leadership Expectations:
Accountable for managing personnel, establishing direction, and allocating resources; responsible for performance evaluations, compensation reviews, and employment decisions.
