MRI Staff Technologist

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our diagnostic imaging department at Mercy. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for operating magnetic resonance scanners to obtain high-quality images used by physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of various pathologies.

Main Responsibilities
  • Selecting suitable imaging techniques to capture accurate and detailed images
  • Operating console and peripheral hardware to ensure optimal image quality
  • Entering and monitoring patient data, as well as transferring images from disk to PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System)
Requirements
  • Education: Completion of secondary and post-secondary education with a degree from an accredited Radiological Technology Program
  • Licensure: Active ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in Radiography, with registry eligibility or active ARRT (MR) Registry
  • Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 3 months of hire
  • Other: Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills; ability to operate various office equipment, including computers, fax machines, telephones, printers, and copiers
Compensation and Benefits
