Imaging Expertise at Mercy

We're seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Mercy. As an MRI Staff Technologist, you will operate magnetic resonance scanners to obtain high-quality images for physician diagnosis and treatment.

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment where you can apply your technical expertise to deliver exceptional patient care.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Selecting appropriate imaging techniques and operating console and peripheral hardware;
  • Entering and monitoring patient data, transferring images from disk to PACS;
  • Working under the supervision of the Administrative Supervisor and/or Director;
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Secondary education and some post-secondary qualifications, with a graduate degree from an accredited Radiological Technology Program;
  • ARRT certification in Radiography, or eligibility to register if new to the field;
  • Registration with ARRT (MR) within 18 months of hire;
  • Certification in BLS Basic Life Support within 3 months of hire;
  • Excellent communication, analytical and organizational skills;
  • Familiarity with a variety of radiology concepts, practices, and procedures;
