Position Overview

Compensation: $17.00-$21.00/hour


MyHealth Urgent Care is seeking a PRN (Contingent) Medical Assistant to support our clinical operations.

The role involves various responsibilities such as welcoming and registering patients, managing phone communications, confirming insurance details, and processing co-payments. Additional tasks include preparing patients for examination, taking vital signs, conducting tests, collecting specimens, performing EKGs, assisting with x-rays, drawing blood, and administering injections. The Medical Assistant plays a crucial role in aiding the examination and treatment of patients under the supervision of healthcare providers. Other responsibilities may be assigned as necessary.

  • Injection Administration
  • Electrocardiogram (EKG) Proficiency
  • X-Ray Assistance
  • Splinting Techniques

Hourly Rate: $21.00

Work Schedule:

  • Availability for at least 3 shifts per month, with most shifts being 12 hours long from 8 AM to 8 PM, and some 6-hour shifts available.

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years as a Medical Assistant (Preferred)
  • Minimum of 2 years in taking Vital Signs (Preferred)

Licensure/Certification:

  • BLS Certification (Required)
  • Certified Medical Assistant (Preferred)
