Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Materials Specialist to join our team at Air Transport International. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for acquiring and expediting materials needed for AOG situations, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Acquire and expedite materials for AOG situations using cost-efficient means while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Route company-owned materials from station to station, setting up various types of couriers and transportation as needed.
  • Track materials for AOG and expedited purposes, ensuring timely completion of company processes and exchanges.
  • Assist with daily materials tasks, ensuring stations are provisioned correctly and expeditiously.
  • Audit regulatory paperwork and provide feedback to the appropriate departments or personnel.
  • Maintain a daily log of activities to assist with accurate completion of shift turnovers.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to clearly communicate with customers, vendors, and coworkers.
  • Sit for extended periods of time and comply with ATI employee handbook and attendance requirements.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment drug and background screening.
  • Prior aviation purchasing experience preferred.
Preferred Skills
  • Excellent typing/data entry skills preferred.
Physical Requirements
  • Employees are regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard.
  • Comply with ATI attendance requirements.
  • Frequently lift heavy objects in excess of 50lbs.
  • Stand, bend, climb, and reach to effectively position materials for shipment.
