Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled RN Senior Clinical Data Quality Specialist to join our team at the Helen F. Graham Center in Newark, DE. This individual will lead the management of one or more clinical registries within designated service lines, ensuring compliance with external reporting criteria and regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with key stakeholders. They will be responsible for abstracting patient data, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement, and developing and implementing data validation methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage one or more clinical registries, ensuring compliance with external reporting criteria and regulatory requirements.
  • Abstract patient data, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and implement data validation methodologies for both external and internal quality data.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to assess and improve quality measures.
  • Provide education and guidance on data collection, analysis, and identification of trends, benchmarks, and variances in data.
  • Develop and implement workflows to support new/expanded registries.
  • Work with the quality team, Service Line leadership, and Office of Quality and Patient Safety to identify and close gaps in care.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Nursing Degree from an accredited school required; Master's Degree preferred.
  • At least three (3) years of related Thoracic Surgery, Surgical or Oncology nursing experience required.
  • BLS certification required.
  • Registered Nurse required.
