Job Overview

Position Summary: The Electronic Payments Representative 1 is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and technical assistance to clients utilizing ACH and wire transfer services. This role includes collaboration with third-party software providers and requires a comprehensive understanding of Electronic Banking functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver outstanding customer service and technical support for ACH and Wire transfer clients, including assistance with third-party software.
  • Verify and process incoming and outgoing wire transfers using specialized software.
  • Input and manage outgoing wire transactions efficiently.
  • Ensure accurate balancing of ACH processing programs.
  • Assist in the setup and ongoing management of ACH and Wire clients.
  • Provide operational training and technical support to clients, ensuring service expectations are met across all communication channels.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of all Electronic Banking operations.
  • Maintain knowledge of relevant regulations, including Reg. E. and NACHA rules.
  • Offer professional and courteous service for all account inquiries.
  • Notify Supervisors or Compliance Officers of any suspicious activities or potential forgeries.
  • Engage in continuous training and professional development.
  • Compile and prepare departmental reports on a monthly and quarterly basis.
  • Perform additional duties or special projects as assigned.
  • Exhibit regular and reliable attendance as a critical function of this role.
  • Comply with all bank policies, laws, and regulations pertinent to the position, including completing necessary compliance training.
  • Report any compliance issues or violations of laws and regulations as outlined in bank policies.

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of experience in the banking sector is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with Fiserv and other relevant software.
  • Must obtain AAP certification within three years and maintain it thereafter.

Work Environment:

This position involves indoor work with occasional exposure to outdoor elements. The role may require lifting or carrying items weighing up to 20 pounds. There is an opportunity for hybrid work from home arrangements following the completion of onboarding.
