Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Care: Deliver high-quality patient care that optimizes health outcomes through the use of the nursing process. Conduct thorough assessments, create individualized plans of care, and implement evidence-based interventions.
  • Family-Centered Care: Provide nursing care and health education that reflects the specific needs of patients, families, and communities. Identify learning needs and implement effective teaching plans to promote health and well-being.
  • Autonomous Practice: Exercise independent judgment to influence care and demonstrate understanding of potential clinical implications. Supervise, delegate, and provide care based on the abilities and limitations of care personnel and patient acuity.
Qualifications
  • Documentation of completion of professional nursing program (RN program)
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license through the MN Board of Nursing
  • Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Must be interested in working with people with short-term or long-term disabilities that begin in childhood
  • Physically able to work hours required and meet physical demands of the position
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing or other healthcare-related field
  • Prior nursing experience in a health-related setting
  • Nursing Specialty Certification relevant to the position
