- Family-Centered Care: Provide nursing care and health education that reflects the specific needs of patients, families, and communities. Identify learning needs and implement effective teaching plans to promote health and well-being.
- Autonomous Practice: Exercise independent judgment to influence care and demonstrate understanding of potential clinical implications. Supervise, delegate, and provide care based on the abilities and limitations of care personnel and patient acuity.
- Documentation of completion of professional nursing program (RN program)
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license through the MN Board of Nursing
- Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Must be interested in working with people with short-term or long-term disabilities that begin in childhood
- Physically able to work hours required and meet physical demands of the position
- Bachelor's degree in nursing or other healthcare-related field
- Prior nursing experience in a health-related setting
- Nursing Specialty Certification relevant to the position
