Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team at Metropolitan Pediatric Dental Associates in St. Paul. As a key member of our pediatric dental care team, you will provide high-quality care to infants, toddlers, and children, working closely with our experienced dentists to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive preventive care visits, including dental cleanings and calculus removal.
  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and provide personalized recommendations.
  • Take and develop dental x-rays to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning.
  • Assist the dentist during procedures by providing necessary instruments and maintaining a sterile environment.
  • Document patient information, treatment plans, and progress in electronic health records.
  • Administer fluoride treatments and apply dental sealants as needed.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and advancements in dental hygiene techniques.
  • Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient patient flow and exceptional patient care.
  • Uphold infection control and safety standards to create a comfortable and secure environment for patients and staff.

Requirements:

  • Active Minnesota Dental Hygienist License.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to grow.
  • Passion for dentistry and working with kids.
  • Ability to thrive in a busy environment and work as a team player.
