Department Overview

The pediatric emergency department at Children's Minnesota St. Paul hospital is a 32-bed, Level IV trauma center that specializes in the assessment and stabilization of acute pediatric illness, injury, and trauma. Our multidisciplinary care team of over 150 pediatric professionals cares for over 45,000 patients annually, providing comprehensive care and treatment for a wide range of conditions.

Position Summary

This role provides safe patient care as delegated by licensed nursing staff and maintains equipment and supplies per unit standard. The ideal candidate will have completed a nursing assistant course or equivalent experience, and possess current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities
  • Provides safe patient care as delegated by licensed nursing staff

  • Assists with patient care activities, including vital sign monitoring and documentation
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • One year of previous Nursing Assistant experience or equivalent experience preferred
