As a Patient Access Representative, you will play a critical role in ensuring that patients receive the best possible care by accurately scheduling procedures and gathering necessary demographic, insurance, and clinical information.

Key Responsibilities
  • Gather information from patients and enter it into our database, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Schedule patient procedures in a way that maximizes their time and clinical resources, while also coordinating and communicating schedules.
  • Assist with insurance pre-certification and authorization, providing counseling to patients and their representatives as needed.
  • Perform clerical and reception duties associated with patient registration, including data entry and other administrative tasks.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • No experience necessary, but a strong attention to detail and organizational skills are essential.
Work Environment

This role is located at SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital - Lake Saint Louis, with a schedule of 24 hours per week, including rotating weekends and holidays.
