We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Access Representative to join our team at SSM Health. As a Patient Access Representative, you will play a critical role in ensuring that patients receive the best possible care by accurately scheduling procedures and gathering necessary demographic, insurance, and clinical information.
Key Responsibilities- Gather information from patients and enter it into our database, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Schedule patient procedures in a way that maximizes their time and clinical resources, while also coordinating and communicating schedules.
- Assist with insurance pre-certification and authorization, providing counseling to patients and their representatives as needed.
- Perform clerical and reception duties associated with patient registration, including data entry and other administrative tasks.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- No experience necessary, but a strong attention to detail and organizational skills are essential.
This role is located at SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital - Lake Saint Louis, with a schedule of 24 hours per week, including rotating weekends and holidays. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment that values diversity, innovation, and collaboration.
