Key Responsibilities

  • Team Management: Lead and motivate a team of kitchen staff, including cooks, stewards, and other support personnel.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the ordering, receiving, and storage of all food and kitchen supplies.
  • Cost Control: Manage food costs, labor costs, and other kitchen expenses to ensure profitability.
  • Menu Development: Develop and implement new menu items, specials, and promotions to drive sales and revenue.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all food and beverages meet the highest standards of quality, presentation, and service.

Requirements
  • Culinary Experience: A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in a hotel or restaurant kitchen, with a strong background in culinary arts.
  • Leadership Skills: Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team of kitchen staff.
  • Food Safety Certification: Current food safety certification, with the ability to maintain and update knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
  • Computer Skills: Proficiency in Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office, and other relevant software applications.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with guests, staff, and other stakeholders.
