Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Admissions Clerk to join our team at Animas Surgical Hospital, LLC. As an Admissions Clerk, you will be responsible for timely and accurate registration of patients, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for our patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Registration and Scheduling: Accurately register patients, collect insurance information, and update patient records in a timely manner.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, and visitors, responding to their needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare team members, ensuring clear and concise information is shared.
  • Problem-Solving: Utilize problem-solving skills to resolve registration-related issues and maintain a positive working relationship with patients and staff.
  • Confidentiality: Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to hospital policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Minimum of one to two years of experience in a healthcare environment, preferably in registration or patient access.
  • Certifications: CPR certification required.
Working Conditions

This position requires lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling up to ten pounds, as well as standing, walking, and sitting for extended periods. Sensory and communicative activities, including hearing, seeing, and speaking, are essential for carrying out essential job functions.
