Job Opportunity: Program Manager - Short-Term Rental, Parking, and Code Enforcement

Placer County Personnel is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Manager to oversee the Short-Term Rental, Parking, and Code Enforcement programs in Tahoe City, CA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the Short-Term Rental, Parking, and Code Enforcement programs, including supervising a team of administrative, analytical, and enforcement staff.
  • Develop and implement program strategies to achieve goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including community members, local businesses, and government agencies.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and policies.
  • Prepare and submit reports, recommendations, and other written materials as required.

Requirements:

  • Five years of increasingly responsible work experience managing programs and/or conducting detailed analysis.
  • Equivalent to a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in public or business administration, political science, or a related field.
  • Valid driver's license and proof of adequate vehicle insurance.

Selection Procedure:

Applicants will be evaluated based on their education, training, and experience. A pre-determined formula will be used to determine applicant ranking and placement on the eligible list.

Condition of Employment:

Applicants must undergo a fingerprint test, pass a medical examination, sign a constitutional oath, and submit proof of U.S. citizenship or legal right to remain and work in the U.S.
