Job Summary

The Quality Control Technician is a key member of the Evergreen Theragnostics team, responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of our radiopharmaceutical products. This role requires a strong background in analytical techniques, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Quality Control Testing: Perform quality control tests on radioactive drug products and materials, maintaining stability records and summaries.
  • Method Development and Transfer: Train and transfer methods to and from QC and contract manufacturers as assigned, ensuring seamless integration and compliance.
  • Procedure Validation: Support the modification and validation of analytical procedures to meet QC's needs, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
  • Experimental Protocol Development: Work on the design and development of experimental protocols, SOP's, etc., consistent with cGMP/GLP, to ensure compliance and quality.
  • Batch Release: Conduct all quality QC chemical tests for release of batches for patient use, ensuring safety and efficacy.
  • Special Projects: Participate in special projects and department meetings via input, feedback, and execution of assigned tasks, contributing to the growth and success of the company.
  • Instrumentation and Equipment: Execute special projects on analytical and instrument problem solving, adapting, maintaining, and operating analytical instrumentation.
  • Work Environment: Ensure work environment is clean, safe, and in compliance with safety and pharmaceutical regulations, promoting a healthy and productive work environment.
  • Radiation Safety: Conduct radiation safety duties conforming to regulations, ensuring the safety of employees and the public.
  • Supply Chain Management: Report on supplies for QC orders involving devices and reagents, ensuring timely and efficient procurement.
  • Industrial and R&D Activities: Contribute to industrial, R&D qualification and validation activities and support routine maintenance, driving innovation and improvement.
  • Root Cause Analysis: Lead laboratory investigations and root-cause analyses, identifying and resolving issues to ensure quality and compliance.
  • Reagent Preparation: Prepare chemical reagents for manufacturing and QC, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in a science field (Chemistry, Biology, etc) required, along with a minimum of 1 year of lab experience.
  • Analytical Techniques: Experience using analytical techniques, such as High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) and radio-Thin Layer Chromatography (rTLC).
  • Communication and Problem-Solving: Excellent oral and written communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills while working under strict timelines.
  • Independent Judgment: Ability to convey complex ideas in a simple manner to management and customers, exercise independent judgement during method development/transfer processes.
  • Teamwork: Team oriented mindset and demonstrates ability to work easily with cross-functional teams.
  • Software Skills: Fluent in Microsoft Word and ability to acclimate to new software.
  • Microbiology Background: Strong background in microbiology preferred.
