Care Coordinator Team Lead

At Wraparound Maryland, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Care Coordinator Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising care coordinators, coaching them on engagement and completion of Family Interviews, and supporting the creation of Child and Family Teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and Support Care Coordinators: Provide guidance and support to care coordinators to ensure they meet timeframes established by the wraparound model, including contact with clients within three business days and initial face-to-face meetings within seven business days.
- Train Newly Hired Staff: Assist in the training of newly hired care coordinators, including modeling the process, taking new staff to outside meetings, and demonstrating file management and documentation responsibilities.
- Participate in Joint Supervision: Participate in joint supervision with Clinical Program Supervisor as necessary.
- Represent Wraparound Maryland at Community Meetings: Represent the organization at community meetings, maintaining a professional dress and demeanor.
- Maintain CANS Certification: Ensure certification is maintained and that all required documentation and data collection are completed in support of the program's implementation and evaluation strategy.
- Identify Training Needs: Identify training needs of staff and make Clinical Program Supervisor aware of need and proposed interventions.
Requirements:
- A Master's Degree in a human services field or equivalent experience.
- Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor (LGPC) or Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW).
- Two years of experience in a human services position, including at least one year of experience working in community-based service provision and at least one year of experience working with children, youth, and families.
- An understanding of child and adolescent development.
- Ability to create effective relationships with individuals of different cultural beliefs and lifestyles.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to develop and deliver a case presentation.
- Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented.
- Ability to analyze complex information and define and solve problems.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Manage time and work effectively with minimal supervision.
- Effectively manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
