Collaborate with Software Development TeamsCollaborating with software development teams to implement analytics systems and data structures to support large-scale data analysis and delivery of machine learning models.
Understand Amazon's Data ResourcesUnderstanding of Amazon's data resources, which to use, how, and when.
About the TeamWe are a team of Data Engineers and Business Intelligence Engineers. Our space is Amazon's scale 3P Ads measurement. We enable scientists (applied and data), PM-Ts, and economists to invent measurement techniques with high-quality data sets, metrics, and dashboards that enable them to build and evaluate ML models and roll out new measurement techniques at scale.
Basic Qualifications- 8+ years of professional or military experience
- 5+ years of SQL experience
- Experience programming to extract, transform and clean large (multi-TB) data sets
- Experience with theory and practice of information retrieval, data science, machine learning and data mining
- Experience working directly with business stakeholders to translate between data and business needs
- Experience managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership
