Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical nursing support to our medical group, including communicating clinical information to patients, scheduling tests and consultations, conducting clinical office procedures, and maintaining clinical supplies.
  • Earned a nursing diploma or degree and licensed by the State of Tennessee.
  • One year of experience in a medical office environment.
  • Competent in using medical equipment and proficient in both oral and written English communication.
Requirements
  • Accurately record patient's medical history and vital signs.
  • Provide immunizations and injections as appropriate.
  • Counsel patients on health-related issues.
  • Order and maintain clinical supplies and pharmaceuticals.
  • Coordinate referrals to other medical services.
  • Secure consultations and specialists.
  • Triage phone calls and address patient portal messages.
  • Assist physicians with medical/surgical procedures.
  • Observe universal precautions and maintain quality assurance for office lab.
  • Coordinate with pharmacies to ensure patients have adequate supplies of medicine.
