Job Specialty: Procedural Recovery
Job Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Four ten-hour work shifts per week, on-call requirements within a 30-minute radius
Guaranteed Hours: 40.00
Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role
License: Current RN License issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or a current multistate compact RN License
Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and ACLS certification from the American Heart Association
Key Responsibilities:- Provide nursing care in a specialty area under general supervision.
- Assume responsibility for an assigned group of patients and document patient responses.
- Assist physicians in examinations, perform minor procedures, and administer medication as prescribed.
- Monitor patient physiological data, initiate intravenous infusions, and regulate blood products.
- Deliver competent patient care and interact with families to share care plans.
- Delegate tasks to support staff and maintain good working relationships with colleagues.
- Inform patients and families of hospital procedures and make necessary referrals.
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
- Knowledge of professional nursing practices, techniques, and procedures.
- Ability to organize, plan, and evaluate nursing services.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
- Proficiency in computer skills.
