Position Overview

Riveon Mental Health and Recovery is seeking a dedicated Day Treatment Addiction Counselor to provide support at our Wellness Center.

Role Summary:

The Day Treatment Addiction Counselor plays a crucial role in delivering essential services, which encompass screening, assessment, treatment planning, education, referrals, and thorough documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical services including individual, group, and family counseling, along with intensive outpatient services.
  • Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans tailored to clients' strengths and challenges.
  • Facilitate the Day Treatment Program, which offers five days of Intensive Outpatient (IOP) group services.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with staff and representatives from Residential and Recovery Housing programs.
  • Oversee case management, including client orientation, clinical reviews, discharge planning, and progress notes.
  • Engage families in the treatment process and deliver assigned program components.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and monthly reviews.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Educational Background:

An Associate Degree or significant progress towards one, with a focus on Addictions Treatment and Prevention, is required. A Bachelor's Degree or higher is preferred.

Certification:

Required credentials include LCDCII, LPC, LSW, or a higher qualification. CDCA credential holders may be considered based on experience, provided they are eligible for licensure upgrade within six months of employment.

Travel Requirements: Minimal, primarily local travel.

Work Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, during daytime hours.

Compensation: Salary is commensurate with licensure and experience.
