Security Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Specialist to join our team at Walmart. As a Security Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our employees, customers, and assets. This is a full-time position working on the 2nd shift, Monday through Friday from 3pm to 11pm.

• Ensure regulatory and corporate policy compliance by addressing compliance-related issues, reporting and correcting violations, and implementing solutions to achieve compliance.
• Support the development and implementation of protocols, programs, and training by providing input, making recommendations for improvement, and ensuring compliance with Corporate Security protocols and company policy.
• Implement security systems and strategies by responding to alarm and intrusion detection system activation, determining priorities of action in emergency situations, and providing tactical security responses to life safety events and incidents.
• Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external partners to promote a safe working environment by providing tactical emergency responses during life safety incidents, providing customer service with internal and external groups, and reporting feedback from customers.
• Develop, communicate, and implement processes and practices to meet business needs by collaborating with managers, co-workers, customers, and other business partners, analyzing and applying information from multiple sources, monitoring progress and results, and identifying and addressing improvement opportunities.

• Successful completion of all core components of the Physical Security Specialist Training Academy within 90 days of hire.
• 1 year of experience in security, law enforcement, military, emergency services, or related area.
