Position Overview:

The role of the Plumbing Foreman involves overseeing skilled plumbers and assistants while managing plumbing operations, including the installation and maintenance of piping systems, fixtures, and fittings in accordance with established standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Supervise plumbing personnel to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  2. Review and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to plan plumbing installations.
  3. Conduct inspections to identify potential obstacles and ensure structural integrity during installations.
  4. Coordinate the marking and cutting of openings for pipes in various structures.
  5. Utilize tools and machinery to cut, thread, and assemble pipes and fittings made from various materials.
  6. Ensure proper joining of pipes using appropriate methods and test systems for leaks.
  7. Install and maintain plumbing fixtures and appliances.
  8. Foster a collaborative work environment while managing job-related stress effectively.

Qualifications:

A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with a minimum of five years of relevant experience. Supervisory experience is advantageous.

Skills Required:

  • Proficient in troubleshooting plumbing issues with systematic and effective solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to use tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Experience in delivering high-quality customer service.
  • Strong communication skills for effective teamwork and independent work.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism in challenging situations.
